We were introduced to Mohamed and his team through a friend who had completed a two-storey extension with him. From that moment, we knew he would be our builder of choice. Mohamed approaches each project as if he’s building his own home — the care, precision, and pride he takes in his work is truly exceptional. Throughout the entire process, we always felt that he was more focused on how we felt and on achieving the outcome we wanted, rather than treating it as just another project. Our only regret is not involving him from the very beginning to manage the design and approval process. Despite coming in later, the Phase team helped us finalise the administrative requirements to get our approval. As soon as we had approval, the team got straight to work. The build was completed to a high standard, and we were so impressed that we ended up expanding the scope along the way. Mohamed and his team delivered a full extension, including a new attic, kitchen, additional bedroom, bathroom, laundry, and a spacious family room at the rear — along with a new garage and concrete driveway. The finishes were fantastic, and we were genuinely pleased with the constant communication throughout the build. We always felt informed and involved, which made the entire experience even more reassuring. We’re now planning to renovate the front of our home early next year, and there’s no question — we’ll be going with Phase Projects again. The aftercare has also been exceptional. We had about an 18 month journey with Mohamed and team from the design process through to the completion of our beautiful custom build. Building our new home was a significant journey, and we extensively researched various builders, including some of the larger project home builders. Ultimately, we chose a boutique builder that would be personally involved on-site and deeply familiar with every aspect of our project. We were not interested in a production line approach. One of the standout benefits was the ease of communication. We could call or email anytime and receive prompt responses. Additionally, we had the freedom to choose materials beyond a predetermined range from their warehosue. Even their suppliers were accommodating; if we didn’t find what we liked, we could suggest our preferred suppliers. This flexibility was invaluable. We wanted to be hands-on with our interior selections and layout without incurring excessive costs for interior designers. An architectural interior designer assisted us with layouts and drawings, but we managed the material selection ourselves. This option, provided by Phase, not being limited to a few choices, was particularly appealing. The open line of communication and transparency were consistent throughout the process. We had regular on-site meetings, which kept us informed and involved. We are extremely happy with the finished product. We had a seamless experience with this experienced builder. A known industry professional who bought our dream home to life. Mohammed and his team were very respectful of our home and our space and made every effort to deliver on all their promises. His knowledge and networking was admirable and we always felt at ease knowing we were in such experienced hands. We were building during covid lockdown and had multiple other unavoidable hurdles along the way. Our builder navigated us through it all with professionalism and class. We had the very best experience with Phase. From the first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. This team truly cares about what they do and takes pride in their work. We hired Phase to do our renovations and first-floor extension, a project many builders before them said couldn’t be done due to the timber-clad structure downstairs and concerns about the footing's strength. However, with the help of Mohamed and his design team, they made it possible, and we got our DA approval seamlessly. The builder and contractors were all lovely and very respectful of our space. They were honest and incredibly helpful when we had questions about fixtures, fittings, and materials. The process was completely stress-free for us, though we imagine it might not have been for them at times, but you wouldn't know it from their professionalism! Nothing was ever too hard for them, and they were very easy to talk to and deal with We couldn’t be happier with the end result, and the great energy they brought to our house lives on in our walls.
