In 2024, Phase Projects was honoured to be named a finalist in the HIA Custom Built Home $2.5 million–$4 million category for our Brighton-Le-Sands waterfront residence. This recognition from one of Australia’s most respected industry bodies reflects the skill, precision, and collaboration that go into every build we deliver.
The project showcased not only architectural excellence but also our ability to overcome complex coastal engineering challenges, resulting in a home that blends innovation, craftsmanship, and lifestyle.

Our Building Team Is Led by Experience
Mohamed Tawil’s journey in construction began with a hands-on foundation as a skilled carpenter, where he developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. His passion for building led him to senior management roles in civil construction, where he spent six years delivering complex, large-scale projects. Over the past 20+ years, including 14 years dedicated to residential building, Mohamed has cultivated a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and design insight.
As a registered builder with a Certificate III in Carpentry and a Diploma in Building and Construction, Mohamed takes a hands-on role in every Phase Projects home. From project management to client communication, he oversees every detail, ensuring quality, precision, and transparency throughout the process. Whether collaborating with architects and interior designers or managing subcontractors and suppliers, Mohamed’s adaptable approach ensures each project runs smoothly from start to finish.
What drives Mohamed is his passion for creating homes that exceed expectations. He finds immense satisfaction in seeing a project come together, knowing that the final product will become a cherished space for his clients. For Mohamed, every home is more than just a build, it’s a legacy of quality, care, and craftsmanship.

Mick – Construction Manager
Mick combines a degree in Project Management with extensive hands-on industry experience to expertly oversee all construction operations at Phase Projects. As Construction Manager, he ensures every project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest specifications. His ability to coordinate teams, manage complex builds, and maintain efficiency reflects his professionalism and dedication to excellence, making him an invaluable leader on every site.
Abbas – Quantity Surveyor & Contracts Administrator
Abbas brings a wealth of expertise to Phase Projects, holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Construction Engineering) and years of experience in cost planning, quantity surveying, and contract administration. His meticulous approach ensures financial accuracy, contractual compliance, and informed decision-making throughout every stage of a project. Abbas’s technical proficiency and industry insight are instrumental in delivering projects on budget and to the highest standards
