Ultimately, we chose a boutique builder that would be personally involved on-site and deeply familiar with every aspect of our project. We were not interested in a production line approach. One of the standout benefits was the ease of communication. We could call or email anytime and receive prompt responses. Additionally, we had the freedom to choose materials beyond a predetermined range from their warehosue. Even their suppliers were accommodating; if we didn’t find what we liked, we could suggest our preferred suppliers. This flexibility was invaluable. We wanted to be hands-on with our interior selections and layout without incurring excessive costs for interior designers. An architectural interior designer assisted us with layouts and drawings, but we managed the material selection ourselves. This option, provided by Phase, not being limited to a few choices, was particularly appealing. The open line of communication and transparency were consistent throughout the process. We had regular on-site meetings, which kept us informed and involved. We are extremely happy with the finished product.
